Yes, there is a surge of COVID-19 tearing through the U.S. The asymptomatic with the disease spreading, sureptitiously, to the healthy appears our greatest threat.
It looks like most jurisdictions are trying to balance the income and the health of Americans. It’s a thankless job as you may have noticed, particularly if you are a restrictive-leaning leader. Let’s stay safe in this, the most tenuous cycle we have faced.
It does look like, perhaps, all who would prefer to be vaccinated will be vaccinated by the spring or summer of 2021, given the likely emergency approval by the FDA, perhaps today, of another effective, safe, m-RNA based vaccine from Moderna. May God bless our leaders with wisdom and our healthcare providers with better acute treatments in the face of a population at increasing risk, while far short of widespread vaccination.
