Seventy Year Old Memories

All grown-ups were once children — although few of them remember it” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince. He died in middle age in 1944 when the reconnaissance plane he flew pummeled into the Mediterranean.

How much do you remember? I remember enjoying the taste of chocolate. My best friend had a toy, miniature grocery where he used M & Ms for the produce. We spent most of our time eating the “vegetables.”

My youngest grandson Lucas loves to play with his toy airport. I enjoy joining him. I guess it’s the chance to be a little more imaginative and bring back the best of my childhood. Most of the time it was a beautiful place.
